After a 10 minute break , it was off to see if the 502EX & 660 Raptor would be the masters today? HA! HA! As we approached the " 500 Hill " Mike was still at loss as to why he & his fellow locals had NEVER spotted this particular hill climb???? BUT once he peered over the EDGE , his butt began to PUCKER UP!!!!!! HA! HA! "PHEW EEEEEEE!!!! it sure is LONG & STEEP " was heard from Mike's lips while observing the HILL that he had somehow missed in all his years of riding this area.
With Mike still in a semi-state of shock, Chad fires up the mighty 502EX & drops over the edge to demonstrate to Mike how its DONE!!!! HA! HA! Even after watching Chad & the 502EX blast up & slide down the hill a few times, he was saying NO , but wanting to say YES about attempting the " 500 Hill " aboard his 660 Raptor. So off to the " Mini 500 " across the way to get a feel for the REAL DEAL!
After a few blasts up & down the " Mini 500 " & his courage rising , Mike slides down the " 500 Hill " ~! BUT once at the bottom & staring UP the " 500 Hill ", Mike's courage fades FAST!!!!! With ALOT of encouragement from Chad & myself & placing ourselves as spotters on the side of the " 500 Hill " , Mike FINALLY ---------------- continued |
