On September 13th & 14th , we hosted our FIRST " Family Ride " at the request of our members & to help get the NEXT generation of Speedball's ready to do battle in the future! LOL!!!! It was a complete SUCCESS, with TWENTY folks in two days joining Speedy Racer for a jaunt across the PA mountains. For SOME , it was their first time out of their back yard & at times it was painfully SLOW !We had a 58 year old rookie who was the SLOWEST to start! LOL!!!! HA! HA! But by the end of the day the he was riding with MUCH more confidence & LOVING every minute!!!! YEHAAAAAAA! We nicknamed him " Turbo " due to his blinding speed at the beginning! HE! HE! NOT REALLY!!!!!
Brian brought his entire family for a Sunday ride ! Wife, son & daughter. Speedy Racer let Jason , the son of our maid ride double with me on the Grizzly & he had a BLAST splashing through each & every mud hole! It was his first time to ride an atv & I'm sure it won't be his last! Jerry Compton out of Virginia brought along his son & a few of his buddies to share in the fun! Caleb Bailey brought along his brother John, plus a freind Eric who rode Matt's Warrior for this adventure. ( normally rides a dirt bike ). Lee & his bug killing Tecate also showed up for Sunday's ride.
I took some cool photos of the newest members & others & hope you enjoy what I've put together. Some of the hills they climbed , might not seems like much to a regular Speedball, BUT for these first timers, they seemed like Mt. Everest to them! LOL!!!!!
EVERYONE made it back SAFE & SOUND & the rookies will be ready for bigger & better things NEXT time!
