Hi Folks,
Would have had more photos , BUT my digital camera battery faded as I strolled across the course attempting to catch the fast paced action of the Pros . Will do better next time! LOL! Dave Price aboard a tricked out Yamaha Blaster held the lead in the " Sportsman Class " until the last lap , when his fuel line kept vibrating loose & depriving his quad of gas. He rode hard , but could only manage a HARD FOUGHT 5th place finish ! In Florida he was leading the last lap until he ran out of fuel! MISSED two " FIRST's by the slimmest of margins!!!!!! Maybe NEXT year more of you folks can join Speedy & the other for some GNCC action packed fun! Your AARP atv buddy!

Racers BLAST along the trail next to the pits! Numerous wrecks happened along this FAST section as quads hit fifth gear!!! High speeds caused them to lose control as they hit whoops & sharp humps in the trail & swerved to miss hitting the huge pine trees! I almost ran over one guy who destroyed his quad after losing control during the morning race in this VERY SECTION! |
