This is WHY the four month old Honda 4x4 looks SO ROUGH!!!!! He tows ONE HUNDRED logs a day , SEVEN days a week off the mountain for a mining company! He snatches the logs with a chain, ZOOMS down the road & does his best to outrun the log!!!!! At the last second, he swerves to the right & flips the logs into the ditch! We watched him for half an hour & it was AMAZING to watch these locals zoom down off the mountain time after time & just miss being crushed by the logs! TOUGH way to make a living!

At the end of day #2 Chris makes an ill advised  pass in some deep grass attempting to pass Mike Yucha & DESTROYS TWO cast aluminum ITP wheels on ONE rock hidden beneath the green foliage! This would be the LAST ride for the duo of 650 Honda Rincon & Chris Cooper! The next day while getting tires & wheels switched around , Chris takes a fancy to a 2004 700 V-Twin Kawasaki Pararie at a local dealer in Logan , WV  & by the start of day #3 Chris Cooper is the proud owner of this beast! LOL!!!!!

After spending the entire morning of Day# 3 wheeling & dealing at the Kawasaki dealer & getting the alternator on Chris's Astro Van rebuilt , the Speedball's rode the rest of Day# 3 in the rain , BUT this didn't stop the young bucks from BLASTING up & down rain slicked hills at the Little Coal Creek Trail system north on Madison, WV. HUGE water holes were everywhere & EVERYONE squealed with delight as we spent our afternoon chasing each other up & down the trails as FAST as we could go!!!!!!! YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! What a BLAST!!!!!!

An hour or so after this photo , we were Speedballing down a rain slicked trail on top of the mountain & Speedy & the Grizzly begins what is a near suicidal slide towards the edge of a cliff! My ASS is puckered up as I continually slide towards the EDGE!!!!! This clay based trail is slicker than owl SH-T & the quad does NOT want to STOP!!!!  I breath a sigh of relief as the Grizzly stops about five feet from the edge!!!!! BUT before I can even catch my breath , Mike Yucha & his 4x4 Kawasaki FAILS to make the same curve & SLAMS into the Grizzly smashing out my tail light & pushing me towards the cliff!!!!!  FEAR grips this AARP atv fanatic, BUT the Grizzly FINALLY stops less than  two feet from the edge!!!!  I was getting READY to bail & wave good-bye to my beloved Grizzly! Once we realize that all is OK, we begin to laugh our ass off & after catching our breath, begin to Speedball in earnest once AGAIN!!!!! WHAT A RUSH!!!!!
