As we await the others, Jim & I laugh & joke about the fate of the poor saplings! HA! HA! Too much air pressure is the culprit as Jim bounced off the trail earlier & mowed over the saplings. Within a few minutes the others rejoined us & a flat tire was the reason behind the slowed progress of our fellow Speedballs. A HUGE antique nail was resonsible for our first , but NOT last  victim of the day.

Once repairs were made is was off to the MOON to have some fun hillclimbing & takes our first well deserved break for the day. As we approached the MOON , the sounds of quads & dirt bikes could be heard buzzing up & down the coal piles scattered over a few hundred acres. With a gleam in his eye , Jim & the 502ex was off & away to challenge Hill # 2 ! Pretty soon the 502ex & Jim were headed skywards as the MudMachines provided the quad with all the traction needed to conquer this narly hill!
As Speedy & some  watch the hillclimbers have fun, others fix flat tires &  straighten  bent rims from our mad  dash across the mountains & get ready for our next MAD DASH!
