As I informed you , I spent Sunday afternoon checking out a NEW riding area for the Speedball's.( Chris supplied the TIP) Its a wonderful place to hillclimb & search out new trails , IF you tire of hillclimbing. BELOW are some cool photos I took of the locals as they buzzed up & down hill after hill with quads & dirts bikes of all models & makes. Even made a few freinds & rounded up ALL the locals on hand to retrieve a Raptor that BOUNCED down a steep coal bank & bounced OVER 30 feet in the air & cleared the trees at the botom of the hill & came to rest in a ravine! I was so stunned as I saw the events as it took place, that I DID NOT capture it on film for all to see! DAMN IT!!!!!! This rider was LUCKY he had a helmet on!!!!! As he dove onto the Raptor as it bounced down the coal bank in a vain attempt to stop the death roll, the quad flipped him like you do a pancake & landed on his HEAD as it smashed his face into the coal bank! STUNNED , Eric did not move at first !!!!! The HELMET saved this atver's LIFE!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE wear a helmet!!!!!!!! After a few seconds he began to stir & do a physical body to check to see IF anything was broken?????? Eric suffered only a severe case of body rash & a few bumps & bruises!
I tried to get a sampling of WHAT you will see when we rattle into the parking lot on October 11 ,2003! So MARK your calendar & get them quads READY to do battle with these HUGE & STEEP coal banks! I ordered a new 14 tooth front sprocket for the 400EX , so I can join in on the FUN!!!!!!! LOL!!!!! Hope you enjoy the photos! HE! HE! Your AARP atv buddy!

Speedy used the Grizzly in 4x4 low/diff/lock to snatch the Raptor to a point where the locals could manhandle the quad to flat ground!
