Hi Folks,
Once again  the excitement got to this AARP ORV fanatic & I'm up & itching to head down the road at 12:30am
Friday morning for the beginning of another GREAT ADVENTURE!!!! October 11, 2002 would be spent as a travel day , since its 500+ miles to this newest riding area in foothills of the Tenn. mountains.

Before long the Speedball Express is headed across the Rt. 301 Bridge in Southern Maryland & into Virginia to meet up with Jason Cannon at the Sheetz's Fast Food Mart & proceed from there to meet Jim Binkelman at Exit 205 on     I-81in Virginia to begin our trex to Oak Ridge, Tenn. . Once at Oak Ridge Tenn. we will link up with Jim Cowgill & friends & formulate our battle plans. HA! HA!

The drive to Oak Ridge is fairly long , but almost ALL via interstate highway & NO  mountains to drag that trailer up & over. So the 500+ miles seems to go by fairly quick & before you know it , we are in the Grand Plaza Motel lounge getting our permits for our three day GREAT ADVENTURE . The motel lobby & hallways are filled with  excited ORV fanatics & arms are flailing about as one ORV fanatic tells another ORV fanatic about some past adventure ! HA! HA! While registering I bought myself a COOL t-shirt to keep as a momento to this glorious GREAT ADVENTURE!
